Feliks Banel
Unsolved Histories host and writer Feliks Banel has worked as a historian in the Seattle area for decades. He was with Bonneville in the early 1990s and most recently from 2013 to 2025, covering local history and pop culture for KIRO Newsradio. He’s also an Emmy-winning producer and reporter for the Seattle Channel and is a popular speaker on the history of the Pacific Northwest. Feliks has served as deputy director of the Museum of History & Industry in Seattle, and as editor of Columbia, the magazine of the Washington State Historical Society. He enjoys hiking with his family and searching for the ideal chile relleno when he is not walking his dogs.
