In this Movie Show Digital Extra, Marshall Moore Co-director of Zions Indie Film Fest talks about the festival and what we can expect this year. 

In the second segment, Tom Durham director of Recipe for Love talks about what goes into making an indie movie, directing his wife and actor Ali Durham. He also discusses the production value compared to the big Marvel movies. He also mentioned how much time he and his wife have to pour into post-production. Ali makes a special appearance on the podcast and speaks on what the audience can expect.

MAX released its newest true crime docu-series, Taken Together: Who Killed Lyric and Elizabeth? The series breaks down the heartbreaking details of "the case that haunts the Midwest," diving into the haunting 2012 double abduction of two cousins, 10-year-old Lyric Cook-Morrissey and 8-year-old Elizabeth Collins, in Evansdale, Iowa.

Long-time Hollywood actor Colin Cunningham (“Horizon: An American Saga”, “The 6^th Day”, “Da Vinci’s Inquest”, “Stargate”) joins Andy Farnsworth to talk about how impressed he is with the movie industry in Utah.  Cunningham moved from New York to Utah in 2020 to be near family and, in his own words, thought his career was going to be over.  But he was blown away by the level of talented actors here, and the emerging filmmaking voices.  He says aspiring actors shouldn’t think they have move to L.A. or N.Y. to make it, since there are more and more great opportunities available right here in our own backyard.

He also his strong feelings about the current quality of most of the content coming out of Hollywood (he’s not impressed), and talks about his experience in Kevin Costner’s filmed-in-Utah epic “Horizon: An American Saga”, and his upcoming project “The Pendragon Chronicles”.
