Unsolved Histories host and writer Feliks Banel has worked as a historian in the Seattle area for decades. He’s been with KIRO Newsradio for many years, covering local history and pop culture. He’s also an Emmy-winning producer and reporter for the Seattle Channel and is a popular speaker on the history of the Pacific Northwest. Feliks has served as deputy director of the Museum of History & Industry in Seattle, and as editor of Columbia, the magazine of the Washington State Historical Society. He enjoys hiking with his family and searching for the ideal chile relleno when he is not walking his dogs.
Trent Sell is a narrative podcast editor and producer who’s worked in audio production for the past 5 years. He’s passionate about crafting compelling stories and soundscapes through audio, helping others share their unique point-of-view. He graduated from Husson University in 2018 studying Audio Engineering, and has since combined his audio background with podcasting. Working with KSL Podcasts since 2019, he’s helped produce COLD Season 2, The Letter, Stranger Becomes Neighbor, and more. In addition, he managed end-to-end production for the B2B show called Organize Chaos with Chris Ronzio, for the startup Trainual. Trent resides in San Rafael, CA where he enjoys the outdoors, running, and traveling with his family.

Aaron Mason has been making podcasts for over 15 years. Since joining KSL Podcasts in 2020, he’s served as a producer & editor on COLD Season 3, Stranger Becomes Neighbor, and several upcoming releases. Previously, Aaron co-created “Your Last Meal with Rachel Belle,” a 2018 James Beard Award finalist for Best Food Podcast. He has also had nearly every kind of job imaginable, including landscaper, talk radio host, pizzaiolo, concrete inspector, bartender, and boutique woodwind mouthpiece maker. He lives in Seattle, WA.
